On Saturday, 80 members of the Springville-based 144th Area Support Medical Company of the Utah National Guard returned from their yearlong tour in Iraq. When I got there, I positioned myself between the crowd of families and where the troops would get off of the plane. There was one family that caught my eye because the kids were practically jumping out of their pants with excitement. When they saw their dad step out of the plane, it took them only four seconds before sprinting towards him and giving him a bear hug.
