My friend and Mizzou grad student Ben Reed just posted an essay he did on the "Seven Deadly Sins." I think this is a great idea for a project and brilliantly shot.
"Established by Pope Gregory the Great in the sixth century, the seven deadly sins were presented as guidelines for the Catholic faithful in order to avoid corruption of the soul and damnation after death. These images depict a modern interpretation of the sins while incorporating a color palate and mood similar to the Renaissance artists who illustrated them centuries ago."
