High school football kicked off tonight with two new schools competing in their first ever football game. Stansbury hosted Maple Mountain and came out victorious, winning the game 35-7.

I could only hang out for a couple of hours, but things got exciting when the one guy with an outstanding $10,000 warrant for his arrest tried to flee. He only made it about seven steps before he was tackled to the ground.

Crawford was born in 1914 and his father William Crawford was a farmer and a photographer who raised his family in a home just two hundred yards south of the present-day Human History Museum in Zion National Park. J.L. Crawford spent many years working in and around Zion Canyon as a park ranger, naturalist, and supervisor.
