Yesterday, I covered the funeral for Brian P. Wood. Wood, a part-time firefighter for the Farmington Fire Department, was shot and killed by a Davis County Sheriff's Office deputy on September 22 after a 12-hour standoff. At the request of his family, Wood's casket was taken from the church to the cemetery on top of a Farmintgon fire truck. He is survived by his wife Liz and Son Jacob.
