Muse | The Strokes | Jim Gaffigan

I have seen some really great concerts in the past few weeks. The first one was Muse, who played at The Salt Air. Their show rocked but unfortunately, they only played about 75 minutes. If you have not heard of them, I highly recommend checking out their music. Their early music sounds suspiciously like Radiohead, but they have come a long way developing their sound and style.

The next show was The Strokes. They played at a little club downtown. I was covering the show for The Tribune so I was able to get right up to the stage. After a few songs, I moved towards the back of the venue and made a few more pictures. They were great live and the only bad part of the night happened when someone spilled a pint of beer down my back.

The last show was comedian Jim Gaffigan. He was hilarious and very pale. Ash and I hung out after the show and were able to take a picture with Jim and his Wolverine-looking opener.

I love Muse. I caught their show a few weeks ago in St. Louis. It was just fantastic. Although my photos turned out a little different then yours.

Nice blog, by the way. You’ve got some great pictures on here.
