Bethany Beach Split-Cam Style

I had some fun making pictures with my toy cameras while on vacation in Bethany Beach, Del. It was refreshing not having to worry about pixels & motor drives. Most of these pictures were made on expired film with a “split-cam,” a plastic film camera that takes double exposure pictures, half a frame at a […]

BYU v Tulsa

BYU won their season home opener against Tulsa 49-24. The game was fun to shoot and there was even a 53-minute lightning delay–which the students took the liberty to storm the field. They politely returned to their seats after being told once by the announcer. Only in Provo.

Cross Country

Here are some pictures from the BYU cross country invitational. I wish I had framed the “duck with runners” picture similar to the other pond reflection picutre, but I still like it. Enjoy.

Dempsey, one of the stars of Grey’s Anatomy, started racing three years ago and this year he’s competing in the GrandAm Cup sanctioned by Grand […]

Jesus & Bud

Here is a picture I made in Chicago using my Split-Cam. This plastic toy camera takes double exposure picutres-half of a frame at a time. I am trying to use it more to make photos with good juxtaposition. More to come later…

Centro de Vida Cristiana

I photographed a lively Latino Pentecostal church service this morning. The congregation was very welcoming and I enjoyed the service, even though I didn’t understand what they were saying. (I need to start learning Spanish asap…)

Julius

In the final days of the Utah Legislature’s 2006 session, Julius Steubing, 6, and his family are among more than 2,000 disabled Utahns still looking to Capitol Hill for help. During birth, Julius was deprived of oxygen which caused cerebral palsy and epilepsy. The Steubings continue to lobby for funding that would eliminate the years-long […]
